Estate is situated in an area
of outstanding natural beauty, between the north Hampshire
town of Andover and the village of St Mary Bourne.
The Estate was farmed from 1935 until 2004 by the late Nelson
Dance, who developed the property to its current size. His
family currently farm the land and are striving to promote
sustainability and profitable production methods.
The farming land comprises of roughly 728 hectares of mixed
arable cropping, and a small amount of grassland. The Estate
runs a small herd of White Park cattle to graze the grassland
areas. The Estate is extremely proactive in the protection
and establishment of new wildlife habitats, partly through
government sponsored Stewardship Schemes and also through
